Final build of kernel v4.19 - December 2024 [SOLVED]

Post by Jasper »

This will be 'end of life' this month.

Anyone willing and have the time to compile this Linux 4.19.325 ?

I don't which OS (if any?) used this as it's base.

@Jasper - Bionicpup64 used 4.19.23. I made a 4.19.215 (64bit) & 4.19.217 (32bit pae) in April 2022 (actual kernel.org publish dates Nov 2021). See archive link in forum Kernels section.
I wasn't that happy with it then & my DOTconfig from there may not compile well now. Aufs for it probably broke at some point.
I did use 4.19.215 with nomodeset to run xenialpup64 on an i5 earlier this year, as 5.x & 6.x wouldn't run on that kit. Just proof of concept - not really useful.
Does anyone really need this?

@ozsouth

I did recall someone mentioning the kernel 4.x ( 4.14.173-lxpup-32-pae) in a thread in another section:

@Wiz57

viewtopic.php?p=134786#p134786

At the time of posting I believed it was the v4.19 kernel.

Not to worry!! :thumbup:
