Thanks for the link.

Are there additional options available ie Debian/Arch/Slackware packages?

Also, do they have a list of requirements eg Qt6 ?

Upon extraction/execution if is looking for systemd and sysctl ........... not present in Puppies generally.

So, using the previous PET file and simply overwrote the existing files.

So, unsure as if it will function correctly ............ if it does all well and good.

Your comments and opinions are superfluous.

I'm just trying to understand the "perceived" need to HAVE to update. If it's still working, we usually advocate NOT trying to "fix" it by updating.

Your need to 'understand' is not important and does not change your opinion.

Countless messages posted stating that you use only older versions of the OS and their applications.

Hi Jasper thanks for all your help,

i downloaded your pet copied to my root folder on F96-CE_5-alpha4 tried to install, moments later it returned red error sign saying

" piavpn-3.6.1-08339-x...pet is named piavpn-3.6.1-08339-x86_64 inside the pet file. Will not install it! "

FWIW when installing it created root folder 2 files 3.6.1-08339....temp.backup and 3.6.1-08339-x...tar.xz

Please delete the previous PET file and use this one instead.

I am using Fossapup64-95 and am not a subscriber to PIA VPN. So my testing is limited just to show you the application does run.

Thanks Jasper, tried your newer one exactly the same error. Could it be a naming issue? just guessing. Kenneth

It is strange behaviour and I have no further explanation.

Hopefully, someone else can assist you further.

Jasper again thanks for all of that. Funny enough it installed in EasyOS but would ( not go into the progsam the app/prog came up but you could not logon it was just hanging type of thing)
but EasyOS for me no disrespect to Barry at all, has always been flakey regarding networking, cant quite pinpoint it)

Oh well i will continue with my older vers, again thanks.

Have you tried running it via terminal? do you mean in EasyOS which seems to install but not work, in Fossa it wont install at all and tells you with error, so installing in terminal probably no go. Will try tommorow.
