Hola amigo:
Muchas gracias.
Saludos, pp4mnk.

I already tried an old version of Yara and it was very good! I will watch the whole thing

Hi fmiguel, thanks for your distribution.
I've tried you puppy and the truth is that it works very fast.
It has been installed without problems and it is the first distribution in which my bluetooth headphones work permanently without cutting out every time.
I have to spend time adapting to it because it is different from other distributions.
I installed a pet that I had from the min browser but it does not appear in the tools menu > internet. But it can be found by the search engine.
I like the dark themes for my eyes that are already burned from looking at the monitor so much.
Well, I will continue working with this distribution and I will keep you posted.
Thanks.
Why is the opening post deleted?
Something wrong with that OS?

@RSH, the project must be discontinued.

You know, it's just my personal take, but when someone joins a platform on May 18th and then he only wrote 3 posts for a brief period before going silent (10 days) , it gives us a hint that they were initially interested but maybe something happened that made him stop participating, or perhaps the community dynamics didn't quite meet his expectations. It’s also possible he didn’t find the active engagement or like-minded folks they were hoping for regarding their project.
Of course, there could be personal reasons, too. Life gets busy, priorities change, or interest can simply fade over time. It’s likely he came in with a specific aim, like wanting to connect with puppy enthusiasts, but if that feedback didn’t materialize, it's understandable he might have stepped back.
These are just some ideas I have, @fmiguel are you still there?
Wishing you all a wonderful day!
Cheers!

This distribution works very well.
Does anyone know how I can change the color of the clock digits that appear on the desktop? I have searched everywhere for the application but I can't find it.
Another thing I can't find a way to do is how to put an image on the Desktop icons directly, without having to create a file inside /usr/share/application.
Regards. Thanks.
Hi.
Today I installed the same Yara iso on a laptop I have:
yara-osx-4.0.iso.
Bluetooth doesn't work, when I go to close the system it doesn't close and a series of other errors.
I have observed that when I installed Yara on the desktop computer it recognized the main disk as sda5, if I made a symbolic link to home of any file it did not recognize this disk as home, I had to make the symbolic link to /mnt/sda5.
Even so, on the desktop computer everything worked perfectly with Yara.
But when I installed Yara on the laptop it recognized the main disk as /mnt/sda1.
And from here on all the problems come.
I think the problem may be how Yara was compiled.
Because it is very rare that with the same ISO on one computer it works perfectly and on another it has problems.
I think that regardless of the hard drives that the computer has, the distribution should recognize the main disk as: /mnt/home . Because if it does not, that is where the problems will begin.
This is not the first Puppy distribution where I have had the experience of shutting down the system and the screen goes black with the typical message like in this case: "fossapuppy64 shutdown" but it never ends up shutting down.
Please "fmiguel" don't take this as criticism, it's just for you to keep in mind in case you can solve it.
I think your Yara distribution is very good and I will continue using it.
Greetings and thanks.
Understand this is a discontinued project.
No other work is going to be done on it.
It is what it is and all it is going to be, unless someone else wants to take it over and work on it.
The things you do not tell us, are usually the clue to fixing the problem.

This is not what I expected
Hi bigpup.
I thought it was more continuous looking at the date of fmiguel's post » Sat May 18, 2024 9:30 am.
Well, maintaining a puppy distribution over time requires a great effort. For a single person, depending on their circumstances, it can be quite difficult.
Thanks for the information, bigpup.
Regards.
I downloaded and found out it is based on FossaPup.
While FossaPup and FossaPup CE booting fine on my machine, Yara won't boot into X.
Just before starting X it seems to have entered a loop that makes the prompt unusable.
Never mind...
