:welcome:

Hello: some of you could get bored or tyred of fusilly effects, you can configure it easily but if you prefer no problem, do it faster or activate Windows Manager for XFCE, you can go from fusilli to xfce and viceversa.

@pp4mnklinux Why fusilli and not compiz 0.8.x? Isn't fusiili abandoned for ~7 years?

Basically because compiz doesn't work and @nilsonmorales is confortable with it (fusilli).

Have a nice day, and thanks for asking.

Did u try F96CE_XFCE_FUSILLI 4.4?

Visually efective....

About the abandon of fusilli, I don't really know what"s about it. @nilsonmorales wrote a mail to fusilli's developer and he did not answer till now, so I have no clue (Dead, I hope not, or alive)

@dimkr

The latest build of Compiz 0.9x requires additional Python modules (mako && C..?) , Gslangvalidator (pre-compiled binary available), Libdrm (update), LibGL and I guess some additional libraries to be compiled successful

Sorry.
My first time here
I am happy with FUSILLI Windows Manager in Daedalus DevuanPup_10.0_Xfce_beta_17 and also in F96CE_XFCE_FUSILLI 4.4
I want to know if I can install Fusilli Windows Manager in other Puppy isos (as EasyOs)
Also if I can install Fusilli Windows Manager in Antix or MX linux XFCE
If the asnwer is YES....how to do?
Thanks
Egreggio

Bufff... I tryed to do this in EasyOS, just for fun, and I did't know where and how to start with it...haha.
I suppose in other puppies it is possible and easier than in EasyOs, but I have no idea. The one who worked with fusilli was @nilsonmorales and I don't know anything about him these days, so....

Now I am working on EasyOS, because (as I told a lot of times) it gives me "motivated" again with linux.

It works fast, it is easy to work with, it is..... what I want (although my competence with it is smaller than with puppies, but I am learning day by day).

So, I am really sorry, but I can't give u an answer and I will love to do it, specially after having read some comments about EasyOS_daedalus Edition that present it as the future of computers (but there are a lot of things to be implemented to gain followers and a good SEO developing must be done and work with different characteristics to make it attractive for users, young people and non geek users).

A lot of ideas, but not so much time to work on them.

THANKS FOR YOUR QUESTION, let see if someone can help u.

CHEERS.

The future is easy..... with an Easy_System.

Hi, @egreggio :

I could be mistaken, in which case, a developer could likely update and correct this information for you.

I believe ECOMorph might be an option for getting wobbly window effects on EasyOS, but its installation would surely be quite complicated, as it would be difficult (if not impossible) to find direct support to help you if you end up needing to compile from source.

Compiz was the original program, and , I think, ECOMorph was derived from it, developed for the Enlightenment 17 desktop environment.

Since EasyOS only has JWM and ROX-Filer as desktop environments, you’d have to integrate Enlightenment into EasyOS (which, as I mentioned, would involve compiling and dealing with source code and all that).

I’m afraid my skills aren’t quite at that level, but if you can do it, for sure a lot of people will be interested about these options.-

Best regards, PP4MNK
