Bionic Puppy 64bit.
Won't use another one.
I think I used a very old version with WINE once upon a time but that was 32-bit.
@Tippe , are u really using SoulSeek?
I ask this because I thought P2P programs were completely forgotten. Why do u use it? What files do you share? Didn't you find anythink more useful?
Please, can you satisfy my curiosity?

Most of those songs are ripped from youtube video so unfortunately it's not good sound quality.
Did you try the linux version download from the official site?
BTW - I have downloaded the original version here: http://www.slsknet.org/slsk157NS13e.exe Download is only 1MB and I'm using it with WINE32-bit in Bionic32. Works nicely. Also, not only music. Thanks for reminding us of this gem.
Hi.
Thanks for the replies.
No, I'm not using SoulSeek or any other P2P software.
I found some interesting music at YouTube and the channels' Guy recommended SoulSeek.
Never heard of it before.
I downloaded NICOTINE, which was the search result for SoulSeek in Bionic Puppy's package manager.
Installed everything successfully it seemed, but checking for open port did not open a page in web browser.
Also trying to download anything only created a directory - files missing.
???

Don't know what NICOTINE is but download SOULSEEK from its official site (there is a Linux 64-bit tarball it seems). http://www.slsknet.org/news/node/1. Soulseek is a p2p client like edonkey/emule, etc. People share their files directly from their computers with others over a network (like gnutella). So a user can for instance rip an mp3 from a cd and share the mp3 file directly over the network. For youtube the user has to upload his files to the youtube server but the problem is that the files are re-encoded by youtube and by the time another user has access to it it has been re-encode a few times, downgrading the original upload quality, and in general the audio quality available from youtube will only be about 128Kb/s. However, if sound quality is not an issue for you and you just want the audio part of a youtube video you can use sites like @pp4mnklinux have mentioned (which generally provide audio ripped from youtube files) or you can use a site like https://y2mate.com/ which will rip the audio part of a youtube file for you.

Sorry can't help you with your browser settings. Works on all the browsers I use.
It's not related to my browser settings.
I tried Firefox and Palemoon.
Both won't do it.
Seems to be dependent on my home country.
Or perhaps all that EU crap or DSGVO stuff.
Some videos I can't watch on YouTube because of GEMA or similar copyright differences.

Try a VPN, your nanny state is watching you. BTW- here are alternative sites you can try: https://9xbuddy.com/ & https://getvideo.at/en/. Cheers, this is as far as my contribution with this is going to go.
I personally download yt videos to mp3 with https://y2mate.mov
