Bonjour à vous,
Have you tried the update on your Palemoon 30.1.0 first? (on the top bar of Palemoon - Help > Check for update)

If you do not give details, on what you do, and what happens, when you do it, we can not help you.
So check for updates does nothing?
What Puppy version are you using?????
We always need that basic info!

The things you do not tell us, are usually the clue to fixing the problem.

Re: how to install new Pale Moon version?
As there already is a menu listing for Palemoon, if you open /usr/share/applications/palemoon-(something).desktop in a text editor, you'll see a line beginning with Exec=. It currently points to a binary or symlink to palemoon's binary. You can edit that line to point to the LAUNCH script in portable-palemoon's folder. Needs the 'full path'. Or you can just run Palemoon's Menu-Add script. But then you'll have two menu listings. Alternative, before running the Menu-Add script delete the old Palemoon's /usr/share/application//usr/share/applications/palemoon-(something).desktop file, or edit it's Category= argument so that it just reads [without the quotes] 'Category='. Without a category, it won't be displayed.
