Re: EasyOS version 4.4.3 released
Very nice distro! My only real complaint, you should put up a download link on easyos.org! It's a bit hard to find as the only way in from the page is in "EasyOS Forum & other links". Would be best if there was one post that always had a link to the most up to date download (or a full on list of ...

Re: VoidPup32 and VoidPup64 Discussion
Hi TDRR Try +10d - rather old powerapplet_tray is replaced by a petbuild https://smokey01.com/peebee/downloads/test/ gmpxx is not a dependency of any of the included apps or libs so if its needed it should be installed by vpm. https://voidlinux.org/packages/?arch=x86_64&q=gmp Worked very well ...

Re: VoidPup32 and VoidPup64 Discussion
Extremely late reply, but I finally got around to trying out 10c and I can confirm everything compiled without a hitch now. Thanks a ton peebee, OscarTalks, and dimkr. This is pretty much my daily driver at this point. Low RAM usage and lightning fast performance even on this netbook. Only two ...

Re: VoidPup32 and VoidPup64 Discussion
Thanks for the advice peebee , unfortunately there's no readily apparent difference with it installed. Identical errors to before on all the same programs. I can only imagine it being something with how some of the built in libraries are compiled, but I don't really know enough to say for sure. EDIT ...

Re: VoidPup32 and VoidPup64 Discussion
I've run into an issue compiling programs with VoidPup64. Some get errors like this: /usr/bin/ld: /usr/lib64/gcc/x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu/10.2.1/../../../../lib64/libpthread.a(pthread_create.o): relocation R_X86_64_32S against `.data' can not be used when making a PIE object; recompile with -fPIE I ...

Re: VoidPup32 and VoidPup64 Discussion
This is honestly one of the best Puppies around at the moment. The compatibility with Void is really good, the filesize is very reasonable and the included apps are nice. Plus the choice of LXDE and XFCE as usual for peebee's pups is phenomenal. Is there any possibility of this one also making it to ...

Re: VoidPup Woof-CE builds (32bit and 64bit versions) - 24-July-2022
i got this error if i tried to load the sfs by clicking it in the file manager. but if i went into PupControl -> Software -> SFS Load i could load it from there just fine. Yep, that worked. Thank you! Still, might be worth looking into? Kinda unfortunate since that's pretty much the usual method ...

Re: VoidPup Woof-CE builds (32bit and 64bit versions) - 24-July-2022
Hey. Very nice pup! Installed the 64-bit version with LXDE and it works wonderfully. Only issue- the DEVX SFS (both versions currently out) can't be installed for some reason. "This sfs should not be loaded because it has the wrong file structure". Tried redownloading a few times but no dice.

Re: Vanilla Dpup 9.2.0 Preview
It's a traditional ISO image: install it the way you install any other Puppy. Thank you, it indeed works just fine. Wonderful Puppy by the way! It's phenomenal, of the most recent Pups around, this might be one of the very best. Clean and especially lightweight, everything runs so well. Having APT ...

Re: Vanilla Dpup 9.2.0 Preview
Does this Puppy still only install formatting the whole drive and not frugally, as "Getting Started with Vanilla DPup" mentions? It seems amazing and certainly a Puppy worth trying out, but frugal installs are a good part of what really "sells" Puppy for me.

Re: LxPupSc64 SlackwareCurrent LXDE Woof-CE build 11-Feb-22
Hey. This Puppy looks amazing and seems like it'd perform really nicely! No trouble with drivers so far. Unfortunately though, just installing a browser has proven very difficult. I tried downloading both the Firefox and Vivaldi SFS from the LxPup SourceForge, but neither works at all. Firefox says ...
