I was able to create a puppy with S15Pup64-22.12-230618. Using the WiFi dialog I was able after several iterations to load WAN0 and got the internet working.
Thanks, to ALL and then some. Dennis

Need to load Mediatek MT7921
I have been using Bionic pup for a few years. I recently had to get a new PC ASUS M1603 with AMD Ryzen CPU. It has a Mediatek MT7921 WIFI card. Is there a way go add the driver to Bionic. I am not technical and the sites that I have found require a build process that I am not comfortable with. If no...

Re: Unable to write to NTFS Partitions in Fossapup (Solved)
Update 2: Still having NTFS unable to update after reboot. Considered adding script to Start folder but that would require knowing what NTFS Drives are being mounted. Got on PuppyChat and MrFrick suggested it was Win Hibernate leaving a dirty file system. Checked Win (8.1) and did not have hibernat...

Re: Unable to write to NTFS Partitions
Update: I was digging around and found this link http://wikka.puppylinux.com/NTFS3G that had instructions to "fix" an NTFS partition. It recommended using windows, I did to no avail. I then jump off the deep end and ran the provided code (since i had just imaged my WIN drives i was willin...

Unable to write to NTFS drives (Solved)
In fossapup64 9.5 I am unable to write to NTFS drives. In past pups (prior to Bionic) I was able to. I have read several threads and many docs without success in getting access to NTSF. I have checked and "fixed" the NTFS drives (no errors) and i have also updated the user rights (in NTSF)...

Re: How to turn off Desktop statistics in Fossapup?
Thanks Jafadmin, that was the ticket. I know, I know how can a few bits really scare people. I've been in IT for over 40 years and have seen it all, including the dreaded "coffee holder broken error". But people (especially Luddites) fixate on things that change, it must MEAN something so ...

Re: Kernel Panic bionicpup64 8.0
I to have had the Kernel Panic error recently. It occurred when my lap top powered down (battery out of power, power plug pulled out of wall) unexpectedly, just BOOM black screen (went below 10%). I did have a Ext4 file system on the usb stick but no luck in recovering it. Just always went to Kernel...

How to turn off Desktop statistics in Fossapup?
I have seen many screen shots (on wallpapers) with a statistics list (Systems, Processes, Resources, etc.) that show activity in real time. My previous versions of puppy did not have those stats on the desktop(s). As I am not a developer and frequently get my Luddite friends to get off of Windows wit...
