Re: GUI file finder for Puppy?
XFE file manager, available in the ppm, also has a search function built in Tools>Search files or the shortcut ctrl f.
I believe PCmanfm file manager also has a built in search, although I don't use it.

Re: Netflix not working in Firefox64 on BP64 with latest Widevine
Had same problem with FF84. Tried using a user-agent switcher, but that did not work. Netflix is working in Chrome portable 90.

Re: How to get Bluetooth earbuds to work in BionicPup64?
@Jafadmin
Took me a while, but got a TaoTronics Bluetooth Transmitter and Receiver 2-in-1 Wireless Adapter TT-BA07 from ebay and it does work well with my TV/puppy laptop/bluetooth speaker. Thanks for the tip.

Re: How to get Bluetooth earbuds to work in BionicPup64?
@Jafadmin
Does your TaoTronics Portable Bluetooth Transmitter for TV have low enough latency to work with videos and not produce lip sync problems? I've tried several and all failed that test.
Thanks

Re: Fossa64 9.5 screensaver overheating cpu
Turning off the compositor stops the overheating, but it also disables conky's transparent background. Turning the compositor on and choosing BackEnds>Xrender restores the transparent background AND stops the overheating.

@williams2
thanks for your reply. The xset dpms 0 0 5 overheats just like the default screensaver. Still a mystery and just on the two laptops listed above

Re: Hibernated Win10 laptop says hdd is read-only - What to do?
@greengeek
Per foxpups message, disable hibernation. Also disable Windows Fast Boot, which is a partial hibernation (should be disabled anyway, as it is a source of trouble)

Re: vlc chromecast in fossa 9.5 not working
VLC 3.0.12 test.
.
Watched full .mp4 movie, tested controls, etc. and listened to a playlist of .mp3 audio files. No issues, everything seems to be working correctly
thanks oscar

Re: vlc chromecast in fossa 9.5 not working
@Grey
Hi grey, I tested your smplayer and it works. It requires that you have chrome or chromium (and maybe other chrome based) set as your default browser. The browser is actually what does the casting.
