Hmmm... not to sure about that, I also run the EasyBuster 2.6.2 where there isn't any problem with setting up and 'keeping' the printer working after the initial cups setup, shutdowns or reboots... unless BK changed the container-thing in Dunsfell?

You may want to take a look at what I have posted (believe it's on file#3) HP Printer Problems in Dunfell 2.7.3 - Update 9/28/21 'NOT SOLVED'

My printer is an HP and I wonder if our problem could be related in any way?

Initial Status of Cups on Startup = Idle

Tried to print a test page= State = stopped Failed Filter

Then I = Canceled Job

Restarted Cups, Status= Idle - "FilterFailed"

/etc/init.d/cups status
cups: scheduler is running

(Not sure if this is the Cups test you want?)

I might add, scanner continues ...

Failed Filter wit‎h HPLIP built-in is on first run, initial setup. And of course on any run thereafter.

Airdale appears to have only scanner problems now, claims printer works fine, didn't say if that 'work' was on a reboot also?

Drivers setup? I use several puppy OS's and I do NOT have a printer ...

both have the 3050a-611 drivers needed to install the printer, and... if you use a completly FRESH - yes FRESH - (with no other hplip's installed) of either hplip's mentioned above in the latest ...

Easy Dunfell64 2.6.2

HP Printer 3056a All-In-One

Tried many hp drivers ... 'No Print' In Easy Buster the old Tahr64 drivers work just fine for print & scan but not in Dunfell, they all show a 'Filter Failure'... Any suggestions or help appreciated.

I brought over my contact file from another puppy to Fossapup64... seemed to install fine but when I click on any contact... poof... Osmo is gone!

First I thought the brought-over contact file wasn't compatible with the Osmo version in Fossapup but ...
