Issues with Bionicpup full install on flash drive

I had xenial pup running ona couple of machines for a while. Apart from my hamfisted hackings it worked well until a MOB packed up.
I managed to rescue what I needed; I don't keep much on the computer, prefering to back up and store on detachable storage.
Most of my hardware is now "of that age" and I decided to try out Bionic Pup, full install on a usb flash drive. I cloned it so now have two. I still have Ubuntu 11.04 running on a laptop in use as a music server. ;)
I like the distribution so thank you very much to those responsible.
I would like to see something like Etcher in the default package; Unitbootin doesn't appear to work with this distributon.
Like the inclusion of Peasy Scale resizer too.
The puppy package manager seems to work as well as Synaptic.
I am having a problem with installing Bionic Pup on a mni pc. I haven't exhausted all the options yet and I believe it's a BIOS problem rather than a puppy problem.
I've tried out a number of Linux distributions and I've yet to find anything that offers the speed of puppy and ease of use. Working at root level does mean crashes are likely and I've crashe a lot. But, it's through the crashes that one learns I find.
Thanks again for everyones time and effort.

We can help you with the issues you talk about.
But it is better to make a topic for each issue.
Much easier for everyone to only talk about one thing in a topic.

We always need some basic info:
viewtopic.php?f=2&t=218

No limit on number of topics you can post!!

We are Puppy!
Resistance is futile!
