Where is the multi monitor setting in Vanilla Dpup?

Post by Governor »

I got the vanilladpup-10.0.28.iso distro and put it on a thumb drive with Ventoy 1.9.85. It booted fine and started the firewall automatically, which I like, and It quickly connected to the internet through my USB Ethernet card. However, I was unable to find the multi monitor setting. Is the setting there somewhere?
I heard KDE should be available for this distro, is that correct?

Thanks!

You can install lxrandr or any other tool of your liking.

Yes. If I remember correctly, you can install it using apt install plasma-desktop && echo startplasma-x11 > /etc/windowmanager.

Apparently, I do not have the apt command. Is there another possibility?

Thanks!

All flavors except the 'retro' one include both apt and Synaptic. If you're using 'retro', you can try to use PPM but it's super likely to fail.
