I'd try to create the save file manually or use a save folder. You should have a utility called "Create savefile"

Save folder is better for most cases.

I'm not familiar with that particular install program. There are so many.

I think the fastest way to success is for you to manually create the changes.dat file and put it in /live on your flash disk.

I'm 90% sure that should just work.

edit: I was wrong.

edit: ignore this. I

'm kind of going blind, but try this.

*********************

Find the application "Savefile Creator" in the menu and run it.

You will get this window.

Create a save file and put it in the /live directory of your flash drive.

I'd make it at least 1 Gb (1000 Mb) and 2 Gb wouldn't hurt.

I suspect that TC00's "ISO to USB" burning tool has left the flash drive in read-only state.

So the Savefile Creator tool failed, even though it reported success.

I would use Rufus instead to make the flash drive.

...

Yes, I think too (read-only) looking at @TC00's screenshot (/mnt/sr0/live as data).
It should give a message that save-file creation failed, probably it didn't, sorry about that.
