Screensaver password when waking up from hybernation 9.6??

Hello;
I have installed 9.6 on a hard drive of Lenovo ThinkPad T61, did not set up any passwords during the setup.
Closed lid to see if hibernation works, it does.
Opened the lid and I am asked for a password. Tried WoofWoof, woofwoof, no luck.
Rebooted and disabled screensaver ... but the same still happens.
What is the password or how can I remove it?
Thank you in advance for words of wisdom, Albin.

Hi, @albind
Nowadays I'm out , so I am talking by memory, but this happened to me time ago, and what I do was the following (no passport worked, because I was using a not defined version, jaja)
I hard restart puppy (with the cpu button)
When puppy started again, I went to usr/share/applications and I looked for the Lock Screen option and define my particular password (or I configured it not to answer again).
At the beginning I thought the program was going to ask me for the password it was configured, to delete it, but I didn't need to do this. ONLY START THE PROGRAM AND choose a password.
Hope it helps.
Cheers

In terminal enter
passwd
Set a new password or just leave it blank then <enter>

Thank you All for input, this what I did:
I have reinstalled and the problem persisted.
I then went to Menu->Leave->Lock_screen button.
Entered password (Enter for none).
When waking up from hibernation, pressing Enter once resumes the session.
When tried passwd terminal option and set password to none (Enter), I had to press Enter three times. First time gets Invalid Password, second time nothing happens, third time resumes the session.
I could not find a password option under any Lock Screen entry under usr/share/applications
Thank you All gain, Albin.

1. Go to /usr/local/apps
2. Right-click on “Xlock” icon, choose “Clear xlock password” and “Click to clear password”
3. Shut down, then choose “Restart graphics”
4. When prompted, type your new password

Clearing the password got me back to the beginning. When waking up from hibernation, the session cannot be resumed no matter what password is tried.
The password did clear. Going back to Menu->Leave->Lock_screen has asked me for a password and then again. Using no password there (Enter), has returned everything back to normal. The screensaver after hibernation goes away after pressing Enter only once.
It looks like new installs have no password, but a password must be then entered even if none is used (Enter).
Regards, Albin.

It's probably the hybernation issue, not the xlock/screensaver password.

is this what i'm getting too? no hibernation pw set. it might be easy to set one, BUTT i usually do NOT have a physical keyboard on hand. it complicates things. a workaround blocking hibernation would suit me.
