How to Remove HD icons? (Solved)

I am using a frugal install of F96 CE v4

When puppy boots to the desktop using the Default pinboard it shows icons for each detected drive - both HD and USB.
I have a machine on which I would like to remove (or hide) the icons for the HD so that they do not show at all.

To remove an icon from the desktop one normally just does a 'right click' and choose 'Remove-item(s)'. I'm also aware that the Default pinboard is /root/Choices/Rox-Filer/PuppyPin and any adds/changes on the desktop get written to this file.
I use this all the time to organize my desktop - but this does not seem to work for the drive icons.
If I remove these icons, or If I manually edit the PuppyPin file and remove the icons, they are simply re-created when the graphical server is restarted.

How can I remove or hide the HD icons permanently?

@mow9902

If you have JWMDesktop available to you there is an option here in the Icon Layout section
