Just gave this forum distro a try. Judging from the video it look very nice.

But, when booting the ISO file in a VM, my desktop does not look like the one in the video. Mine is empty and plain. My test stanza

Subsystems seem to be working without issue and SAMBA sharing works in tests.

Most of the icons you can see in my screenshot, has been added by me little by little (at the conki, you can see the note ...by pp4mnk), because it's my "personal version"

It is based on F96CE_XFCE_FUSILLI 4.4 (the version you can download without problems) but when we design it we had in mind that each use has an specific and particular necessities, so we made the base, a completely functional base, and then everybody can addapt it to make the way he/she needs.

We understood this a puppy principle.- Each use can addapt it little by little to his needs.

You can access all the ISOS from https://archive.org/details/f96ce3_xfce_fusilli , and at the ISO IMAGE list, download the last one, 22nd April => 4.4

I never run it using Virtual Media, but @nilsonmorales used this method, so I think he could be the one who best answer your question, but till I know, he told me that when he was using VM he had visualization problems.... SO BIG ICONS....

F96CE_XFCE_FUSILLI is the main version and the one we are walking as a group.

FXFFUSS is a particular modification that @nilsonmorales made as a particular adaptation to make F96CE_XFCE_FUSILLI looks like a macos carolina.

There are other differences, because I think the original has been more developed.

This image as I include is my particular distro, but all of you can made the modifications you want to do to obtain if not this, at last, the composition you prefer to use.

The more you work with this derivative, the most confortable you are going to stay with it, so, try it use it and ...OF COURSE... enjoy it.

n.b.- We can write nor one or two or... but dozens of books about how to configure this F96, but the best option is to try, experiment and work sure with this derivative (in order to obtain the best results, I recomend to you make a copy of your savefile, so you can do all modifications you want being sure you can go back in case of damage).

even use this as my main driver.
