PeasyPDF from Bionicpup64 forum does not work in FossaDog(SOLVED)

Hi everyone. I am trying FossaDog - Ubuntu 20.04 'Focal Fossa' LTS 64-bit -updated 2020-09-19 - and I find a problem with the PeasyPDF v4.2 application downloaded and installed from the Bionicpup64 forum

As in the images it seems that it performs the extract but I cannot find anything in the PDFextect folder and I have the following info in the peasypdf.log.
Can anyone advise me on a way to the solution?

here from terminal, it looks like it extracts from these reports instead and pdfextract folder is empty.

Why are you using PeasyPDF from Bionicpup64? It should be available in Fred's repo with apt-get.
This will get all the missing dependencies, like gs.

! i didn't know i searched in synaptic package mgr but i didn't find anything.
So now I will try to follow your advice: where is Fred's repo?

You can try the v4.5 from
here.
Remove the fake .gz extension and right-click install it.
But it is designed to use packages from Debian repos and might not work in FossaDog.

Excellent.
If other Peasy-apps are missing from Fred's repo. look for them in the
Starter Kit.

Hi I too have just found Fossapup64 was trying it out but unfortunately found it has got peasypdf, i found this extremely useful.
However i have tried to get it to work using the info in this thread but must be missing something as i cant get it to work.
Can anyone give a step by step guid how to make it work

Are you running Fossapup or Fossadog?

Have you done an "apt update" operation yet?
If so, open a terminal and run: peasypdf
Are there any error messages?

apt-update doesn't work
command not found
