If you noticed that debian and ubuntu packages are no longer provides init.d scripts for starting and stopping services. Instead it provides systemd service files for starting and stopping services. A workaround is needed in order to start and stop services for those debian and ubuntu-build puppies by reading systemd service files

About Debian: Perhaps make use of Devuan, rather than Debian (as Devuan purpose is avoiding systemd).
