Changing SS-control's time step

Another user asked for this so may be useful for some. The following works for radky's version 2.1 that I'm using:
Right-Click the /usr/local/sscontrol/preferences file and choose Open As Text from menu. This should open the file with Geany. Go to Line Number 41 and change all instances of the number 5 to 1. Save changes at exit. This should allow you to set any numeral value from 1 to 300.
