Unplugging EasyOS usb drive once booted

Hi i was reading this post The Illusion of Privacy/Security using ANY Web-browser anyway it got me thinking re above question when you boot EasyOS from a usb drive or SDCard. when you first arrive at the desktop a message Dont unplug etc etc appears then fades. Can one remove the Usb Drive with EasyOS on like one can in say Fossapup and others?
