Hi,

I want to try TinyCore but the forum registration validation blocks me out every time. I have tried on Fossa, Windoze and Android but all do the same ... there is a second row of validation pictures that I cant adjust to be upright as the sliders dont work, but they work for the first row .... can anyone give me an email address for a moderator of TinyCore who can help me register for the forum?

Thanks, but Im going to need help via the forums if I install it, so I need to be able to post on the forums before I instal.

What browser are you using?

Web sites are really getting bent out of shape over what specific browser you use.
Not all browsers will work.

I started registering using Firefox v102.8 0esr 64bit and it seems to be working for me, but I did not try to complete the process.

Hello, I tryied to register and there is no problem (I think....)

The only fail is that it takes sometime to recognice you when clicking on the image, but after 10 seconds it takes you to the registration page.

i used chrome on windoze and android, 110.0. .... and palemoon on puppy ...

So can you get past the images that need to be turned the correct way up, because that is what is always a problem for me everywhere I try?

I just tried firefox 110 on this fossa but its always the same thing, two sets of pictures to put upright but the slider adjusters on the second set do not work.

This issue is known at tinycore team.

I met the same problem.
I canceled to register me on this forum.

Personally, I wouldn't bother.

I tried to register on the forum almost a decade ago. The Captcha was different in those days, and I managed to get registered.....though I soon wished I hadn't bothered. The only response I ever had was from one of their senior members in reply to my initial query; reminiscent of the early days of Linux, all I got was a tersely-growled "RTFM...!!!"

And that was it. I never went back, and quickly disabused myself of any notions of actually using TinyCore.... Complete and UTTER waste of time.

Ok, thanks, Ill try those links instead. I would like to just see how it works on this 18 year old PC. Fossa is doing ok on it
