EasyOS Kirkstone-series version 5.2.3

Version 5.2.4 is out, but there is really no need to update:

Just grab the 'easy-update' script and, fingers crossed, you should be ready to update to 5.3 when it is released.

Audacity asked me for an update to 3.3.0 and once I accepted the loading bar appeared. Once it finished nothing happened. Audacity didn't restart, so I restarted it, but it remained 3.2.5. I'v found a audacity-linux-3.3.0-x64 file in donloads, but not sure what to do with it. How do I update Audacity?

Are you referring to audacity appimage?

However, the audacity in flapi (flatpak installer) installs audacity 3.3.1, which does work. I don't recall if audacity is in flapi in easy 5.2.3, but definitely is in easy 5.3

The new version 3.3.2 starts in EasyOS (5.3)
To install this version avec Appi. it's necessary to install the listed version (3.25) and then to update by reusing Appi.

You mean Flapi, the Flatpak Installer. It installs audacity 3.3.2
if you already have the appimage installed, uninstall it first, then run Flapi.

I prefer AppImage to Flatpak.
If we only use one application, flatpak is very much bigger.

Oh, I see what you mean. The problem was the 3.3.0 appimage didn't work. But the 3.3.2 appimage does. OK, good.
