Zerotier-one (VPN and SD-WAN) in yad
I adjusted a small application to work on puppy, it's an old version of zerotier-one 1.4.6, it works fine on xtahr, jammypup 32, dpup32, I haven't tried the 64 bit version, I borrowed the daemon script that came in a old hamachi pet and adapt to skip systemd.
ZeroTier combines the capabilities of VPN and SD-WAN, simplifying network management.
Enjoy flexibility while avoiding costly hardware vendor lock in.
(from zerotier site)
How it works: it's simple, during the installation the window that invites you to join a network opens automatically
then from the menu, you can call it again, a notification appears in the system tray written in yad, with the basic options of zerotier, join a network, connect to the central ui, remove and put from the start, exit
the right click gives the options the left gives information
the pet is made with parts of others and with the help of users (@tenoch for the window to join the network)
Written in English with Spanish translation
The pet is an all in one, it includes the old version of zerotier and the gui
I use it regularly to connect via remote
puppy >>>> to puppy
puppy >>>> to window 7, 8, 10, home, pro, 32 and 64 with newer versions of zerotier
EDIT: 26 feb 2023
I have added the option to leave the network in the right click menu.
apparently it's not a good idea to send the main script to /root/Startup instead I made a small script something like this
sleep 3
exec /usr/local/bin..
on restart the information was not updated
the code is very rustic but functional, if you can improve it I will be very grateful
