How to connect BionicDog to the web via smartphone?

Hi.

I have something like a small laptop from Samsung.
BionicDog from Ubuntu 18.04 32bit is installed.
I tried to connect to the web via USB-tethering to my smartphone.

It was easy in Bionic Puppy from Ubuntu 18.04 64bit.
But no success in BionicDog. Could not find the internet-connection-wizard?

So, BionicDog doesn't have the internet-connection-wizard like Bionic Puppy does?

How would I connect BionicDog to the web via my smartphone then?

The problem is that I can't find any tool to setup internet access. Puppy has the network wizard which comes with different options.

In BionicDog I can find only wvdial which seems to be unusable for my purpose.

Why doesn't it have the internet wizard built in also?

@Tippe Yeah, it's very different from Puppy, no-one has put the effort in making a network-wizard for BionicDog.
I can't answer your question, perhaps try to find how USB-tethering should be done in Ubuntu (or Debian) and try that in BionicDog.

I will try to get the network wizard extracted from Bionic Puppy and installed into BionicDog.

Thanks.

I will try to get the network wizard extracted from Bionic Puppy and installed into BionicDog.

Successfully extracted / installed everything from Bionic Puppy 32bit to BionicDog 32bit.
I could choose the setup method I used in Bionic Puppy (64bit and 32bit), but it doesn't find the "Live-Network".

I'm now going to use Bionic Puppy 32bit on that small machine. It connects fine.

Even though, BionicDog is much faster on that machine. Don't know why...
