Is there a way to replace the intro splash menu in Dpup 7.5?

Is there a way to replace the black screen and white info lines that follow the aqua blue splash screen on Dpup Stretch 7.5?
Can a 'screen saver' type screen be used instead?
Something like a blank page with a Puppy-Logo floating around the frame to indicate that activity is happening and a Puppy will soon appear?
The only way I use the current black screen is for any messages that the boot has failed.
I also check what save-file I've loaded up. But, that's about it. The screen is tiresome to me.
