How to transfer files from Android Phone to PC using Puppy wirelessly

Post by mistfire »

Here is the easy way to transfer files from Android Smartphone to PC using Puppy wirelessly. The trick here was to use FTP. Setting-up FTP server on smartphone was quite easy. No android rooting needed.

* Connect the smartphone and PC on the same wifi network
* Download and install FTP server app from Google Play Store or any android store app
* Run the FTP server app on smartphone
* On Puppy, run gFTP/Filezilla or any FTP Client then connect to smartphone using the parameters given by the FTP server app.

NOTE: The smartphone storage location to be accessed by FTP Client depends on the features of FTP server app
