I'm running Xenial on a Lenovo ideapad Z 370,which has an Atheros AR 9285 wireless network adaptor (PCI express rev 1). Most other puppies get WLAN0 up, but not this one. What can I do, other than throwing it away and buying a new one?
What exact version of Kenialpup 7.5?

What program are you trying to use to setup a WIFI connection?
I had a pc at work that had issues connecting to wifi. None of the network apps could find a wifi network at all
The only thing I found to work was installing "peasywifi". I believe that's what it was called.
I had to fiddle with it but it's the only thing that seemed to work.
