Thank you Puppy and to all who have contributed. It's coming up on my 15th year of using Puppy (and my family's use of it as well).

I promote Puppy whenever I can locally, and have installed it on many older machines (sometimes closet bound or donator) for friends and acquaintances, and people without the means afford a newer computer, or who had a computer that stopped being functional.

I think Puppy has contributed a lot to the world by keeping so called "obsolete" equipment useful for people who would otherwise not be able to use or own a computer.

I once tried unsuccessfully to encourage a definition of Puppy Linux. I never actually gave my own opinion about that, but I would like to say that one of the defining functions that has been at least an historic characteristic was this unique ability to reduce electronic waste and cost of use, and increase the possibility of ownership and participation by people of lesser means. All while increasing efficiency and speed.

That has had a real positive effect for me and my family. And many others in my experience. So thank you Barry, for taking that approach, and for everyone else who has continued that effort.

I know it has been a while for me. Started on the old p1 and p2 Thinkpads back when I was running 98.

@ All

OK, so has anyone got a specific date for this anniversary -

Or has it been and gone -

It would be interesting to know -

Reading the other posts in this Thread, dates are given as to when certain members started to use a certain Puppy -

However, I can't find an actual 'start date' for Puppy -

Best regards
