I was laughing much about your holiday experience post. I had similar experiences with cheap airlines, Scoot for example. Zero customer service and so on.

I had a cheap flight too, when I was in Vietnam last year, but their personnel causing a lot of unnecessary problems. In the end I booked a new flight with Philippine Airlines (wich is a little expensive), but it was worth it. Very good service, good meals, and direct flight to Manila, not like the others, layover in Singapore first ...

Well, I have learned my lessons now too, for domestic flights I will only book with Philippine Airlines, but as China is open again, for flights to Europe, I fly with China Southern. I have very very good experiences with them too.

Ha ha, yes, we used to have Tiger Airlines operating in Australia, that I flew with a few times. I think that Tiger merged with Scoot.
