LXPanel question (?) - RESOLVED.

Most of the time, whether StretchDog / BusterDog / Bullseye, I use Fred's DDOG flavour that includes xfce-panel and ThunarFM.

But sometimes, considering many old HW I have, I put other flavour (eq. OBDOG - LXPanel and PCManFM).

I think my question is related more to the panel (?), rather than Filemanager (?).

When you copy/create a link in OBDOG desktop, and run it, it asked for confirmation everytime (eq. CPU-X, Chrome).
In DDOG flavour, you just change the "Allow this to run as program" once and that's it.

How do you make it to "not ask" confirmation everytime?
Permission already "relaxed".

In the pcmanfm/file manager preferences, check the box "don't ask options on launch executable file".

My bad, Dan. Didn't do enough exploring...
Thank you! @dancytron

EDIT:
How come Fred's 'built-in' icons can run without asking, even before we did the check box in PCManFM?
What's the 'secret'?

Probably you were copying or symlinking .desktop files from /usr/share/applications/ .
When drag and drop an application from the LX-menu to the Desktop, then when launching it, no dialog will show.

Yes, I was.
Hence, it didn't occur to me to look at PCManFM options.
I tried your tip. Reverted/Unchecked the PCManFM option back, drag & drop instead of copy/symlink.
And...no dialog. :thumbup2:

Thanks again Fred!
