I assume this is about GTK themes.
Because the different themes have different specific settings for the font used.
Things like color, thickness, background color the font is in, size, etc.........
Really there could be any setting for anything to modify.
Sans Regular 10pt is just the style and size of the font starting point.
Here is what to use to start with.
The theme can modify as it is coded to do.
Usually the themes let you pick font size and keep it close to what you pick, but it could modify it a little.
your image is of Quicksetup.
It too probably has some font setting code that may modify it a little depending on the selected theme used for GTK.
@bigpup I notice Numix is the default in later pups. Do we know who its creator is for other possible themes with the same rendering?
