What is this WEE problem while booting from a flashdrive? (Solved)

Below I share an image of an error that ocurs when I try to boot from a flashdrive (64GB) newly formatted as ext4 with a fresh copy of fossapup64-9.5.

I feel I have AGES having this issue and I've never looked for help here. I solve the problem formatting it as FAT32 or using the option Bootflash that seems to force a FAT32 partition. I'm tired of a problem I usually have later: Can't have a Pupfile bigger that 4GB.

This is the time I want to solve this or understad why it doesn't work. Some help here would be appreciated.

Greetings from Venezuela.

Incredible:

I've just solved the problem this way:

1. Read the error on screen (probably I never payed attention to this)
2. Put a copy of the grldr file on the root directory of the flashdrive.
(Here the thing advanced a little more: It asked for a grub / menu.lst file)
3. I created a grub from my working Puppy in the other machine and saved it to the flashdrive (loader included).

That's all. I'm amazed how easy it was.

But... why Fossapup failed in doing that all when I installed it in the flashdrive?

First I need to know this:

Did you format to ext4 using Gparted in some version of Puppy Linux?

How exactly did you do the install to the USB?

Sorry for the delay. I was busy and, also, I have doubts about the way and order in which I prepared the flashdrive for the install. But there's only one option that I could use from Fossapup9.5 in my pc. Yes, I did it this way: (I formatted it as ext4 from gparted in Fossapup9.5).

There is another window after that with different options.
They are a little confusing as to which one to pick.

If you want a USB stick with an ext4 formatted partition and ability to boot on any computer.

Use Frugalpup Installer.

Fossapup64 9.5 has it but it is version 20.
I suggest getting the latest version and using it. Version38.

This is how I do it:

This also allows putting multiple versions of Puppy, as frugal installs, on the USB stick.

Thanks for all that useful information.

Now I'm sure I used the fourth option, where the 'ISO' and 'USB' words are. While writing this answer, I decided to test that option again and it worked like a charm. I'm almost sure that was what I did the first time, unless an omission that I'm unaware now. The only difference seems to be the size of the USB stick: 64GB the first stick and this one is 2GB.
