The December Linux Pro Magazine "Puppy" article.....available for download

Evening, gang.
I suddenly thought about this, around an hour ago....and realised it had completely slipped off my radar. I'd forgotten ALL about it.
So; having found the issue in question, and that you can buy/download individual articles as a PDF, I've done so. £2.50 ain't gonna break the bank....
I've uploaded it to the Drive, AND to MediaFire:-
Google Drive
MediaFire
.....to share with y'all. Help yourselves.....and enjoy "Running With The Pack". See if you think Bruce Byfield has done us justice..!
It's a LOT more "to the point" than many previous articles I've seen about Puppy Linux. Even Dedoimedo - one of my fave Linux bloggers, and a long-standing Puppy freak (to use his own words!) - has never quite got the ethos/background of how & why we do what we do just right...
Mike.

That was an enjoyable read. I especially like the way he wrapped it up:
edit: I erased the quote, rude of me to spoil the ending!

Thanks for posting this!
Are you sure this is OK under the magazines copyright?
You did have to pay for a complete copy of the article.
It does say this:
Downloads and copies of these websites are permitted for private use only.

@bigpup :-
I had a feeling somebody might raise this point.
I interpret that statement to mean a prohibition against re-publishing on the web or in printed material for sale.....i.e., trying to pass previously published content off as your own, original work.
I've bought the article for my own, private use. I've uploaded the article to 2 cloud accounts from where the only access is by "invitation".....in other words, my 'sharing' the link with members of this forum ONLY.
I could be wrong, but I doubt the world will end..! If I'm wrong, then I'll share the link via PM instead.....via request.
Mike.

You are wrong.
i think you should edit your posts,
then have a chat with the Byfield byline person.
A nice quality review is worth a feedback,

Questionable copyrights aside, this is an ok article.
It does give clear explanation of what puppy is. It doesn't necessarily say why it's better or worse than other 'nixes. I didn't even figure out whether the author liked puppy.
If I was a linux newbie looking for a distro to use, this article would not convince me to use Puppy. If I were a seasoned linux expert, this article might open my eyes a little to shift from "toy" thinking to viable linux distro.

@mikewalsh Thanks for that article. I felt, overall, that author did an "OK job", of describing Puppy.

If everyone agrees that this is a good and positive article on Puppy Linux.
Could it be included in the Wikipedia entry under the section 'Reception' ?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Puppy_Linux
It could also include that their DVD offering did include the OS too.
