▶—— Linux Kernel 6.0.9-rock #1 SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Sat Nov 19 19:40:07 EST 2022 ——◀

@fredx181 this is built using the Debian config result from the cr-debkernel script build with some additional modifications for adaptation to the woof-CE kernel-kit

Kernel Release: 6.0.9-rock (x86_64)
Build Date:_DYNAMIC Sat Nov 19 19:40:07 EST 2022
Build GCC: 9.4.0-1ubuntu1~20.04.1
OS Support: GNU/Linux
Architecture: x86_64
SMP Enabled: Yes

Kernel Command Line:

  • This kernel is tested both in F96-CE and KLV-Airedale using both AUFS and Overlayfs where called for.

  • Built using the Debian kernel configuration from the KLV Debian derived kernel build configuration

  • Low latency preempt command line dynamic

  • Virtualization modules for KVM Intel and AMD are built in

  • Overlayfs and AUFS6 are builtin

  • This kernel works with the Puppy Linux initrd.gz and with @wiak 's FirstRib skeleton initrd.gz used by KLV-Airedale.

  • Timer speed CONFIG_HZ_300=y (GHz) for more balance when used on a more general purpose desktop or file server system

Also available is Kernel Release: 6.0.9-redge (x86_64) which is very similar to 6.0.9-rock but has CONFIG_HZ=1000 (GHz)

Thank you so much for sharing this with us.

Is a DevX file available too?

If your browser complains of an expired SSL certificate then this should work.

Code: Select all

wget https://rockedge.org/kernels/data/Kernels/64bit/6.0.9-rock/huge-6.0.9-rock.tar.bz2 --show progress --https-only --no-check-certificate

Fortunately for me I simply had to rename your files to the corresponding existing ones and it worked in Fossapup64_9.5.
I kept my Adrv and Pupsave file as is.

**PLEASE NOTE**
The supplied Zdrv file needs to be renamed from

zdrv_fossapupy64_9.5.sfs

to

zdrv_fossapup64_9.5.sfs

**EDIT**

Not sure if this would replicated by others, but when browsing and viewing back videos not sound is available to me. Playing audio tracks works fine. Used my old firmware file but the same issue occurs.

Hopefully, you will have better luck!!
