I had to switch to Fossapup64-9.6 to compile kernels successfully because of similar problems with out of date certs and libaries in FP-9.5. Used to work well but I have never been able to fix all of the errors that started popping up compiling in 9.5.
I made a woof-CE Fossapup64-9.6 which I installed frugally on a HDD then loaded the matching devx SFS. Cloned woof-CE with git
, Entered the woof-CE directory and in a terminal run the script: ./merge2out
Enter the directory the script output, then enter the kernel-kit directory. Open the build.conf and fill in the correct data for the target kernel and run the script : ./build.sh
Though with the error you still were able to reach the kernel configuration parameter editor. Did the kernel compile or fail?
Thanks for instructions and I guess I will have to make the switch over to the CE build sooner rather than later.
The kernel compilation did fail. However, their should be an option available to me which allows me to turn off the digital signing off. I guess I will have to read the instructions again. It's always the way, in the eagerness to do something you tend to forget a step or two.
