Today I tried boot Bionic Puppy 32 bit from USB on modern machine: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core processor 3,6 GHz with 64 Gb RAM and Windows 10 onboard on SSD.
Puppy loaded to RAM (with copy param) and was sooooo slooooow as on my IBM T41p notebook. Opening PaleMoon window get 20 seconds.
Maybe I should run it with other params?
A 32 bit OS will see 4G of ram unless PAE is enabled.
How much total ram does free -h tell you that you have?
What does running this in a terminal say (copy/paste)

dmesg | grep -i paeWhat does this tail /var/log/Xorg.0.log show?
It should tell you what Xorg is using as a video driver.
Do you have a save file/folder?
I so, what does running without a save file do?
The kernel parameter pfix=ram run without a save file.
What does cat /proc/cpuinfo say how many cpu cores it's using?
BionicPup64 might work better than Bionic32
And a newer 64 bit Pup might support your hardware better.
Of course, it see only 4 Gb. I see it with free -h, it says, thay I have enough free memory.
I tried to run Vivaldi portable, computer thinked for a few minutes, than Vivaldi hanged on white screen 
I have fast USB 3.0 flash-disk running Puppy on it. Maybe it is too slow in compatible to HDD?
Or maybe I should change kernel to some modern one?
Another information I will check tomorrow.
You need to be trying a much newer version of Puppy Linux and a 64bit one.
One that has better support for that hardware.

I assume you have the USB drive plugged into a USB 3.0 slot or at least a USB 2.0 one.
How are you doing the install to USB drive?
Are you using some installer program?
If yes.
