Hi, my english is no good at all, but, i can try:

I have been trying to put my old pc back to life. I have been using Lubuntu for a while, but ive decided to give bionicpup32 a try.
Now I would like to try some software without any pain in my soul, so i was wondering if i can install some apps with snap. And also installing snap store in puppy so i can make it easier to my girlfriend to adopt a puppy herself, and she is not familiarized with linux at all. So i installed sanpd deamon from package manager. Everything was ok, but when i try to install something, it just give me this message:

error: cannot list snaps: cannot communicate with server: Get http://localhost/v2/find?q=kdams&scope=wide: dial unix /run/snapd.socket: connect: no such file or directory

.... Whats happening...
maybe its really simple but.. pleas help me. Im falling in love with this puppy, i really want to adopt it, but i would like it to be a very lovely relationship.

As far as I know you'll be out of luck using snap packages in Puppy.
Others may proof me wrong.
Anyway, you could try to use AppImages and .sfs modules.
Both will work (mostly) and are easy to create by yourself - after a small learning curve.

Reading your post, several things come to mind. The first is that you should read, viewtopic.php?p=816#p816. "old pc" doesn't give us enough information to provide help.
"bionicpup32": bionicpup -- by this time there's a good chance that any application you want may be available, but not as a snap package. For long-term use of the computer by your girlfriend to accomplish her objectives is bionicpup32 the best 32-bit system? Are you going to have to spend a lot of time fiddling with the system?

It's likely you did something wrong trying to install snap, Although rockedge has posted instructions on how to install snapd --and I've just figured out what preliminary steps had to be taken on a 64-bit system before following his instructions that I'll post about shortly-- it is not likely that the packages you want will be available as snaps in a 32-bit format. Ubuntu has abandoned 32-bit development. Even before that, devs were unlikely to have spent time creating applications for a 32-bit systems.

I'll echo taersh; there's plenty of other, "easy" ways to install software in Puppy apart from Snaps (which are a Canonical 'special', anyway). And agree with t'other Mike; unless you have a pressing need for a 32-bit system, a 64-bit Pup will give you access to a lot more apps & stuff, since everybody is building for 64-bit these days.

32-bit apps are becoming few & far between.....and quite hard to find.

As requested above; let us know what your computer specs are, please. And if you could give us some idea of what kinds of software apps you want to install, we can probably advise on that, too.
