Samba tip in Easy OS
Note that Samba is pre-installed in some versions of Easy OS but not others.
You can check by using pFind to search system files for 'samba'
If it's not installed then you can go to ibibblio repository and download and install easily....
http://distro.ibiblio.org/easyos/aarch6 ... h64.tar.xz
During first boot you can set the firewall and allow Samba to run as service .
Alternately there is Bootmanager app in start menu
which can allow services to run.
However Samba now needs to be setup and launched as process.
(There are actually two processes --> smb and nmb that you can check are running in terminal)
This is done with the app "EasyShare" (see image)
Samba option will be grayed out which apparently signifies that is is not running,
however it has been installed.
The user clicks on the grayed out name.
Change default password if desired and then press apply.
The app should now announce that Samba is running.
Other machines on network should now see your machine on network.
