Hello norgo,
Fresh boot of Slacko64 6.9.9.9 frugal
I can't remember if this is the 01micko build or some other
I had to add libsecret which I downloaded from packages.slackware.com although I expect PPM would also do this.
After doing that, your package appears to work OK. Have not tested it much though, it has lots of features.
Anyway, just wanted to let you know. Good work as always. Thanks.

Hello Oscar,
thank you for feedback.
This is a build of slacko64 6.9.9.10 and you are right, this build has never been published.
So it's possible that in former versions some dependencies are missing or libs outdated.

@taersh
as I wrote .... compiled in Slacko 700 ... [ Slacko is not Bionic ] actually you should know this.
... to check missing librarys ... you should know this too.
Install the package libflac++6v5 and audacity will launch.
Unfortunately the installed ffmpeg version doesn't match

I built a second package compiled against -libavformat.. -codec.. .so.57
so there is a good chance that this version will work in Bionic too

audacity-2.4.2-1-s-x86_64.pet

happy testing
this version comes without pulseaudio and without jack support.

Slacko is not Bionic?

Yes, I know this! Though, in the past I had several programs from Slacko running good in other Puppies.
So, I just gave it a go.

Check missing librarys?

Yes, I know this too!

Audacity doesn't complain about a missing lib. There was a lot of output in the terminal. In the end there were some messages about pulse audio and pcm devices not found and unable to open. There was also a message about /root/my-applications/audacity ... ... lib ... can't recall completely.

Then the output hangs and audacity didn't come up.
