Linux malware known as Shikitega

Hello i read this

and thought should i be looking at Linux Antivirus or whatever, i did use/install Clam Antivirus and something else about 4 years ago. It seemed to be out of date but i think it updated its definitions, but a pain , so abandoned it.

Logic suggests its only a matter of time become the bad boys start climbing into Linux as it were. So wondering what thoughts there may be.

I know Linux/Mac have been fairly safe to date................. mostly

In the past we've always been immune. But I have to wonder... with malware being so renumerative for the bad guys, it's probably only a matter of time before they target even the few percent of us who use linux. I sure hope not.
