I assume Ubuntu is already installed when you do this.
When you run Grub4dos Config and let it setup the boot loader.
Is it making a menu entry for Ubuntu?
The things you do not tell us, are usually the clue to fixing the problem.
When I was a kid, I wanted to be older.
This is not what I expected
No. I haven't installed ubuntu yet, but I have installed it several times and I well know the problems that comes. I already have that problem with the ubuntu installer (in the hard drive), the entry built by Grub4dos doesn't launch the installer, it throws an error, the same error with the entry for ubuntu built by Grub4dos.
May be I need some knowledge of something called "Grub.cfg", to see if that bootloader do a better job.
Thank you.
NOTE: I've only thought of ubuntu because right now I don't have sound in my computer.
