Hi sometimes we need to adjust the screen brightness according to our needs

So is there any working .pet file for fossapup64 that does the work without any extra features which makes it complicated

I want something like https://forum.puppylinux.com/viewtopic.php?p=2907#p2907 but that doesn't work for this puppy version

Remove the one from that post if that's the one you installed and go with the one in this post.

And you could always try the one Fred posted below Mike`s.

I already have a script in my Startup folder that sets my brightness at startup but as I said sometimes we need to adjust the brightness according to our needs, normally during daytime we need a higher brightness and at night the brightness needs to be lower

I tried this script gives me error :

Code: Select all

xrandr: Failed to get size of gamma for output default
xrandr: Failed to get size of gamma for output default
awk: cmd. line:1: BEGIN {print *100}
awk: cmd. line:1: ^ syntax error
Initial value less than minimal.

Besides I want a icon in the bottom right corner like this (would be better without that colour temperature thing) for fossapup64 can someone make a pet file for it please :(

Hi i decided to create my own pet file with some modificatons from this
It can work on both 32/64 bit systems
Tested on: fossapup64 & bionicpup32

Note: Tint control has been removed !

I have attached the .pet file below enjoy :mrgreen: :thumbup:
