this time i hope i have selected the right section for this Chromium problem.
I performed the following actions to use Cromiun browser.
1) I downloaded the latest version of Bionicpup32 iso file 'BionicPup32-8.0 + 30 ISO from SourceForge - Uploaded on 08-April-2022' this to have an updated system.
2) using the 'Get web browser' function I downloaded Chromium sfs and then, with the 'boot Manager' function, I loaded chromium which in fact I find myself in the internet menu.
3) trying to start it from the internet-menu
after 5 seconds a yellow window appears in which something uninterpretable is written as the window closes immediately.
4) I tried to start chromium from the terminal and you can see the result in the attached image.
anyone have any idea what i can do?
thanks sonia

Try mkdir /root/spot/Downloads assuming that is the correct location to the user spot.

You may have a cpu that is too old and doesn't have the instructions needed for Chromium........

Check with System -> Pup-SysInfo -> Mainboard -> CPU -> Flags:

(or cat /proc/cpuinfo)

do you have SSE2 and SSE3 listed ?

Does dmesg give any clues?

without SSE3 : '... running Chrome will result in a crash'.
In fact I only have the SSE2 flag
Pity.
Thanks anyway peebee, bye
