When police go rogue

What to do when police use their opinions as law and attack the general population based solely on who they dislike, the clothes they wear, opinions, etc.?

Should the other police ignore the abuse based simply on how many donuts the rogue cop distributes to the rest of the police squad?

Our police are kind and good. A policeman friend of mine told me that sometimes they take a smartphone or tablet from a drunk detainee. In the morning, he doesn't remember if he had a smartphone, and if he does, he can't prove it.

Everything else is just helping the population :) These are such nice people. And drunks... it's their own fault :)

You are aware that Karma looks out for babies and drunks? Messing with the balance is going to be costly.

No, I'm not aware. I don't believe in Karma as a phenomenon. There is a Buddhist monastery not far from me, but even visiting it did not convince me.

Maybe an excess number of enforcers create a bad environment, tendencies toward wolfpack syndrome.
Especially for harvestment of wanted items such as phones and donuts. :P

Exactly where is this happening?

Not where I live!

Are you conducting scientific research on this topic :) ? Or do you have remorse at your new job and you want us to become your moral compass in the fog of uncertainty :P ?

It happens everywhere there are those charged with keeping order.
Some people should not be put in charge, especially when they desire and seek the authority in order to abuse others.

Merely observations that I wished to float the thought. Nothing more.
But you would not wish me to be the police, no telling what I am capable of! :P
