I am using fossapup.
Works fine on firefox 96 on bionicpup64. (Running 5.10-ck kernel build)
i have tried that link in both chrome and vivaldi and both crash on page 13 of that blog.
No issues with pale moon however.
Hi again @xenial,
So I took my fossapup, started vivaldi (you did not mention which version of the browser you use, how you installed or if you use a portable version or what else ...?) and the blog page you linked works without complaint.
(Chromium I have already tested in my last post and found good.)
Latest version of both vivaldi and chrome and both browsers throw in the towel at that "specific" page..
Does not occur in pale moon browser so i am assuming it is a chromium based conflict or there is something bizarrely unique to my set up which incurs this..
The fact it does not happen with others is kind of weird.
@xenial :-
Opens A-OK for me in latest version of my Chrome-portable, mate. Given the nature of other poster's replies, it's beginning to look like it could be an issue for you, locally.
Probably a daft question, I know, but have you tried clearing cookies/cache? What about trying from a clean start, i.e., re-name or move your profile, and let the browser fire-up as though for the first time, thus creating a new profile.......and then try that page again?
Mike.
@mikewalsh
Thank you mike,
Just out of curiousity i booted into one of my other pups (scpup32) and tried the link in chromium 96 and the same thing occurred.
Chromium flag possible?
not a massive deal but a puzzler none the less.
But hey the show must go on mate.
