Hi,
I have an old pentium 4 256mb Ram and I put SNEs emulator to play with my son☺️ He loves retrogames as me
But I installed Mednafen for GBA, nes and others.

It launches very well all rooms on all platforms but I don't understand how I can configure my Xbox 360 controller.

It's so sad 😭I would like to show my games which I played when I was young to my son but it's impossible if I can't control the characters.

Can you help me to configure that?

Thanks

1. Which puppy?
2. Which kernel version?
All in all, just give a try. Plug it in, then open terminal and type "dmesg" and copy over the last few lines you see there.

I'm assuming "puppy5" to be either Wary or Racy, but I could be wrong. The 5.5 versions had a 2.6.32.59 kernel for Wary, and
3.0.66 for Racy.

xboxdrv Xbox360 gamepad driver for the userspace

^ install that package, follow guides on line for setting it up.

you puppy may be too old ... you'd need something than Wary...

You could try Slacko Arcade, or this: http://murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic. ... 30#1062330

^ someone made a fairly up to date puppy with retroarch already installed in it..

FYI, me and my bro live in different countries, but we have played mednafen online, using the built-in netplay, with puppy (me) + freeBSD (him) very successfully..
