Wow, big change! Grateful for all the necessary work to totally re-boot like this.

Question, since my old login didn't work here, I re-registered under my old username. But I'm wondering if this is what was wanted?

If the old threads are eventually brought over to this new forum, will the two matching usernames cause any software conflicts, or will we need to re-register?

Also is there somewhere on the front page where people can go who are initially confused about a login refusal, as I was? Some explanation of what is happening. Sorry if I missed it -- I did look for a bit before deciding to re-register.

This is a totally new forum.
What you want to register under is up to you.

If you were a regular on the old murga puppy forum.

Using your old registration name, will make it easy for others to know who you are.

Merging the two forums or anything about using stuff from the old forum, is still a work in progress.
I really do not think they are going to merge them.
They are two completely separate forums.
Right now, the old forum is read only, to be able to still read it and download stuff, from it.

I and others are bringing stuff over from the old forum and making new topics on this forum.

Basically, a big house cleaning.

I think the old forum will be archived so it can still be read from, but not posted to.

Yes, a regular there for about a decade. We did a lot of work re. Puppy on Chromebooks recently.
