I have had a lot ( And I mean a lot) of practice and experience installing MySQL or mariaDB into different Puppy's, so it's gotten easy for me. But you are correct! It mostly gets hard trying to do the post-install, first time database initialization. But once it's going it performs solidly.
Matches up excellently with the Hiawatha web server.
I am looking forward to giving this a spin. It might become one of the new base distro's recommended for easy ZoneMinder installations
Nice OOTB distro with a DB base! And I am hopeful a PUP is released as an OOTB ZoneminderPUP, as well, for some basic LAN camera use.
