hi,
I tried easyOS on virtual box running on tahr 606 with dual core processor 2GB RAM I got some critical error message.
I tried bot latest buster version iso and old version iso also. but in both the cases easyOs started booting but stopped showing critcal error very soon.
what could be error is it with my system configuration or with virtual box?
Why these error messages with EasyOS on virtual box?

Re: easy os on virtual box
How did you allocate RAM to your virtual machine? (easyOS). What type of error was displayed? Version of Virtualbox?

Nah, you simply don't have the resources, that's all. TBH - from experience! - with only 2 GB of RAM you're asking a helluva lot of any hardware to run a VM in addition to the 'host'. If I was in your shoes, I wouldn't bother with virtualization at all, but would instead create a USB install of any additional Puppy/Dog/other variant you want to try out, and simply run it on 'bare metal'. It'll certainly be more responsive.
(With 32 GB RAM, I could run half-a-dozen VMs - if I wanted to - but in all honesty, I haven't got the time of day for virtual machines; to me, they're more trouble than they're worth. I tried all this on my old rig; it only had 3 GB RAM, and didn't even have the Vt 'flags' in the CPU. Needless to say, everything was as slow as molasses....)
It was NOT an enjoyable experience. That only comes with large amounts of resources.....at least 8 GB of RAM +, minimum. Having the Vt-x flags - for directed I/O - wouldn't go amiss, either.
Mike.

Hi zzz000abc!
As mentioned @mikewalsh , you don't have enough resources. it takes at least 2 GB of RAM and not 512 MB to run your machine
