BOINC computing FOR SCIENCE

I re-joined this shared computing space after being offline for awhile. This project uses your idle CPU time to solve complex and demanding computer algorithms.

I downloaded the install from the Puppy Package Manager, rebooted and re-entered my World Community Grid id and password and the threaded computing began anew.
I am using Puppylinux boinicpup64

Puppy package manager:

boinc-client_7.9.3+dfsg
boinc-manager_7.9.3+dfsg

from the command line enter: boincmgr to bring up the gui interface

There are many other project sets, than the World Community Grid, you can join.

I additionally did:

menu --> setup --> Startup control - control startup apps

and added

boincmgr

Now the gui interface starts at boot up.
